Join Serve the City Australia, Parents for Climate, People Planet and families from our different communities in Brisbane for a fun and meaningful morning bringing together families, volunteers, and people from different communities across Brisbane.
This is more than a clean-up — it’s an opportunity to connect, meet new people, spend time outdoors, and show our children the power of community action and caring for our shared spaces. 💚
We especially encourage families and children to come along! The morning is designed to be welcoming, social, family-friendly, and community-focused.
After the clean-up, we’ll come back together for snacks, chats, and community mingling near the playground and library area.

New Farm Park – Dendy Powerhouse Cinema Area
(Please look for the Serve the City volunteers and signage on arrival.)
From there, we’ll break out into small groups and spread across surrounding areas for the clean-up before returning together for snacks and connection time.

- Your kids, friends, family, and community spirit 💛
♻️ What Will Be Provided
We’ll provide:
- Rubbish bags
- General clean-up materials (gloves and litter pickers)
- Sharps container
- Guidance and group coordination
- Snacks following the clean-up
- A welcoming community atmosphere ✨
📅 Event Schedule
📍 10:30 AM — Meet-Up at New Farm Park (Open Cinema Area)
Arrive, meet other families and volunteers, and get ready for the morning together.
🌿 11:00 AM — Community Park Clean-Up Begins
We’ll break out into groups and spend the morning cleaning and caring for the surrounding park areas while connecting with families and volunteers from different communities across Brisbane.
🥪 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM — Community Lunch & Conversation
We’ll come back together near the playground/library area for snacks, community connection, and a relaxed discussion around why environmental conservation, sustainability, and caring for our shared spaces matters for future generations. 💚

This event is open to everyone — whether you’re coming alone, with friends, or bringing the whole family.
