Join a fun, young, and vibrant team that is the heartbeat of Serve the City! We’re a mix of movers, shakers, and locals who love making a real difference. Whether we’re brainstorming together online or catching up face-to-face, you’ll always find us right in the thick of our community events—connecting with our neighbors, supporting those in need, and leading our incredible community of helpers. If you’re after a fun, flexible way of volunteering with the added social vibe, this is for you. Bonus: no special skills needed!

We’re looking for friendly locals to help run our favorite projects, like our Donation Drives, Clean-Ups and Dementia Social Mornings. These are small, motivated teams where the focus is on having fun while doing good. We make it easy by providing all the instructions, templates, and support you need to succeed. If you’re the person who loves to ‘make things happen,’ this is a rewarding way to grow and see the direct impact of your help on the Gold Coast!

Want to help but have a busy schedule? Join our ‘Sunny’ database! We’ll reach out when a local neighbor needs a hand with something simple—like a bit of light gardening, a friendly chat, or a quick grocery run. We are also always looking for volunteers with a vehicle who can help transport items or do a quick run to the tip. It’s the perfect way to give back to the community whenever you have a spare hour to share!

Prefer getting stuck in with a group? Join us every 5–6 weeks for our community projects! We are always looking for hands-on volunteers to help us make a real impact in our communities. These events are also a great space to simply connect—if you want to join for the community vibe, we’d love to have you. There is always a task for everyone, whether you’re on the main project team, helping the setup crew, baking a cake or just to welcome everyone…community is for all of us!
