Join Serve the City Australia for a meaningful morning of community action by the sea as we come together to care for one of Queensland’s most beautiful coastal spaces.

On Saturday, 20 June, volunteers will be gathering at Mooloolaba Wharf at 7:30am for a morning clean-up. While other volunteers will be helping clean up the ocean, Serve the City volunteers will be focusing on the beach and surrounding coastal areas, removing litter and helping protect the marine environment we all share. A combined action of beach and ocean clean-up!

This is more than a clean-up — it’s a chance to spend time outdoors, meet new people, care for our beaches, and take simple, practical action for the environment. Every piece of rubbish collected is one less piece that can end up in the ocean, harm wildlife, or pollute our beautiful coastline. 💙

Whether you’re coming along on your own, with friends, or as a family, everyone is welcome.

This event is open to everyone — individuals, friends, families, children, and community members of all ages.

Children are very welcome, but must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.

There is something powerful about coming together by the ocean to care for the places we love. Small acts of service, done together, can have a big impact — for our beaches, our wildlife, and our community. 🌏

We can’t wait to see you there!
