Join Serve the City Brisbane for a meaningful afternoon supporting Suited to Success — an incredible NFP helping women rebuild confidence, independence, and opportunity after experiencing hardship and vulnerable situations, including domestic and family violence 💛
Every rack organised, every clothing item prepared, and every care pack sorted during this volunteer session directly contributes to supporting the women empowered through Suited to Success programs as they rebuild confidence, independence, and pathways toward employment, education, and stability. From professional outfits for interviews and workplaces, to clothing and essentials that support studies, training opportunities, conferences, and important life moments, the practical work completed by volunteers helps create experiences that make women feel prepared, supported, and confident stepping into new opportunities ✨
Behind every rack sorted and every care pack prepared is a woman rebuilding self-belief and being reminded that her community is standing beside her 💛
Together, we’ll be:
✨ Sorting and organising donated clothing
🧴 Preparing toiletries and care items
👗 Assisting with stock and styling preparation
🤝 Helping create welcoming and dignified experiences for women rebuilding their lives
This is also what Serve the City is all about: practical acts of kindness, community, and volunteers coming together in a fun and human way to support our community 💛
And of course — after the volunteering wraps up, we’ll finish the afternoon together with snacks, nibbles, and time to socialise and connect with fellow Serve the City volunteers 🥂✨
