Join Serve the City Brisbane as we team up with Australian Red Cross to lend a hand at this year’s Uber x Red Cross Clothing Drive!
We’re bringing our volunteer community together to help collect donated clothing and accessories, giving quality items a second life while supporting people facing disaster, hardship and crisis in Australia and around the world. Donations will be sold through Australian Red Cross Shops, raising vital funds for their humanitarian work.
Every bag we unload and every donation we help move brings those items a step closer to funding support when people need it most. By lending our time and working together, we’re helping turn our community’s generosity into practical action, while keeping usable clothing out of landfill.
That’s what makes a few hours together so meaningful: our small, shared efforts contribute to something that reaches well beyond the collection point. 💛

Join us for an afternoon of teamwork and community connection — you’re in for a fun afternoon, including free catering for lunch and great connection!

🍽️ Lunch and catering provided by the super Uber team!
Working alongside the Red Cross team, volunteers will help with:
- Unloading donated items from vehicles.
- Loading donations into shipping containers onsite.
- Directing traffic to keep the collection running smoothly.
- Setting up or packing down, depending on the shift.
No experience is needed, with training and support provided on the day. Bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to get involved!
It’s a chance to meet fellow volunteers, support the work of Australian Red Cross and turn a few hours of your Saturday into practical help for others.
