Simple Kindness Craft: Create a Kindness Wall

Calling all colouring lovers. We are looking for a few dedicated volunteers to help lead a simple kindness craft at our next Serve the City event.

We will be tracing around hands, colouring them in, and writing kind messages to create a beautiful Kindness Wall for local families in need. If you love colouring in and have a heart for spreading joy, this is the perfect opportunity to get involved. Because everyone deserves a helping hand.

About the Event: Community Morning Tea & Share Table

This craft project runs alongside our main community event in Labrador on Saturday, 18 July. At Serve the City, we believe in the power of simple acts of kindness.

While our craft volunteers focus on bringing the Kindness Wall to life, the broader event includes:

Hosting Morning Tea & Lunch: Preparing and serving hot drinks and food to ensure everyone feels seen and valued.

The Grocery Share Table: Managing a pick-and-choose style setup of fresh produce and pantry staples so neighbors can take what they need with dignity.

Connection & Support: Being a friendly face to help neighbors connect, ensuring that no one walks away feeling alone.
