HO HO HO! Christmas has never been merrier! Imagine a cheerful parade of people dressed in jolly Christmas outfits that go through a nursing home while happy carols sound through the building. Imagine smiling elderly in the doorways of their rooms singing along while the parade passes and clapping seniors in the lounge rooms while the carols choir takes a pause in the local community rooms. It’s pure happiness right there! And you can be part of it!
Let’s get together and give many elderly a reason to smile this Christmas. Bring back their memories of childhood songs, of good family times and being loved and cared for by those around them. You can give the ultimate gift of Christmas: bring delight, love and care to those who need it most. To those often forgotten around this time of the year.
You don’t need any experience to help out with this project. We’ll practice the songs together either face-to-face or online so that we can bring our best on the morning. Make sure you wear your funkiest, brightest and loveliest Christmas outfit, bring some gadgets and if you play or have an instrument to bring along…even better! Especially if they are bells ;-). Do you have kids? Bring them along too! They are our loudest singers!
