In partnership with Lazos LatinOz, this festival brings together live performances, dance, music, cultural activities, and delicious food for a day the whole community can enjoy. Volunteers play a big part in making the day run smoothly and helping every family feel welcome.
Serve the City will help bring the Festival to life – It’s a chance to celebrate the richness of Brisbane’s Latin American community, meet new people and be part of a day filled with joy, colour and connection!
There are lots of ways you can get involved:
- Organising committee — supporting the planning and running of the day
- Face painting for the kids
- Performing in the stage show
- Setting up or packing up the event site
- Running educational activities in a country’s stall
- General volunteering on the day
- Creating social media content
