On Saturday 10 October, Serve the City Brisbane is heading to the MS Moonlight Walk at Roma Street Parkland — and this time, we’re helping bring the Moonlight Festival to life! 🌙✨

We’re putting together an STC volunteer crew of Moonlight Festival Attendants, joining MS Queensland for an evening full of lights, families, activities and community.

The event will bring people together at Roma Street Parkland to walk, connect and raise funds to support Queenslanders living with neurological conditions — and behind an event like this is a whole team of volunteers making the experience happen.

That’s where we come in. 💛

🌟 What will we be doing?

The Serve the City Brisbane crew will help across the Moonlight Festival bringing practical help and community smiles, and we’d love for you to be part with our STC crew!

Volunteers will be helping across different areas of the festival, which may include:

🎨 Children’s face painting in the Glow Up area — especially if you have some artistic skills to share!
👋 Welcoming and assisting walkers and families
🛍️ Supporting festival areas such as the merchandise tent alongside MS Queensland staff
✨ Helping activities run smoothly throughout the evening
🙌 Being an extra pair of hands wherever the event team needs us

It’s practical volunteering, but also a pretty lovely way to spend a Saturday night — serving together, meeting new people, helping families enjoy the event and being part of a big Brisbane community night.
