Gather the troops for our next Big Brisbane “Community Serve the City Clean Up”, happening on Clean Up Australia Weekend!
We’re teaming up with our sustainability friends from People, Planet Pint for a big Brisbane Community Clean Up, bringing together individuals, community groups, businesses, and corporate teams from across the city.
We’re heading to Dutton Park for a morning of community, connection, and care for our environment — coming together to pick up rubbish, enjoy the outdoors, and spend time with people from all corners of Brisbane. Whether you come with a group or on your own, this is a welcoming space to connect, contribute, and be part of something positive for our city.
Why Join?
Caring for our environment is important — but doing it together as a community is what makes it powerful.
Australia has a plastics problem. We now produce 2.5 million tonnes of plastic waste each year — around 100kg per person. Only 13% of this plastic is recovered, while the majority ends up in landfill, and an estimated 130,000 tonnes leak into our marine environment annually.
By coming together for this clean up, we:

Do I need to bring anything?
You’ll receive a cleaning kit on the day so no need to bring anything (wear a hat and sunscreen and perhaps BYO water). Oh hang on, perhaps some kids as they are seriously good at spotting AND cleaning up the environment!
You don’t need any experience to help out with this project. Just a few hours of your time and a bit of energy!
After the fun – hang around for some refreshments, snacks and nibbles and a relaxed chance to connect, chat, and meet new people
