We are reaching out to our community for compassionate volunteers to assist a vulnerable family in Biggera Waters who urgently need practical help to vacate their rental home.
The household consists of an elderly mother and her adult daughter, who requires full-time care. Due to the mother’s age and declining mobility, and the daughter’s significant physical limitations, they are unable to pack, lift, or organise a move on their own. With no nearby family, limited social support, and no capacity to pay for removalists, the situation has become overwhelming and distressing for them.
How You Can Help
We are seeking volunteers who can offer any of the following support:

Packing belongings
Helping organise and safely pack their household items. -
Light lifting or moving assistance
Supporting them with moving lighter items in preparation for relocation. -
Removing unwanted items
Assisting with sorting and disposing of items they no longer need. -
Referrals to community services
Connecting the family with relevant programs or supports that might ease their transition.
Your Support Matters
