Join us at Labrador Community Gardens as part of our upcoming Serve the City Community Day on Saturday, August 9th for a day of creativity, connection, and community spirit!
As part of our Serve the City Community Day, we’re coming together to create handmade arts and crafts that will be featured at our upcoming Serve Your Soul Festival—a future celebration of compassion, creativity, and kindness.
This project is open to everyone and children are warmly welcome—it’s a wonderful opportunity for families and neighbours to gather, make something beautiful, spend a morning of community and fun – and contribute to a shared community event.
And here’s the perk: feel free to bring along any art supplies you love using! These can be used on the day to make arts and crafts together—and if you’d like, they can be donated afterwards to support our “Art with Heart” project where Serve the City facilitates an art workshop for those suffering homelessness at Emmanuel City Mission, bringing creativity and comfort to those doing it tough.
Whether you’re a seasoned artist or just curious to create, come along to create, connect, and add your touch to something that will support our amazing Serve your Soul Festival and uplift many.
